Dr. Hassan received his undergraduate degree from Tishreen University in 1987 and received his medical degree from the Tishreen University School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his residency at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1996 and his gastroenterology fellowship in 1999. Dr. Hassan completed advanced training in Biliary Endoscopy at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI in 1999. He joined Hampton Roads Gastroenterology in 2002.
